AGUERD OUDAD

Aguerd Oudad is one of the old villages
of Tafraout, known for its Berber adobe houses
boldly built at the foot of the leaning rock called
"napoleon's hat". Aguerd Oudada is located at 3Km
south of Tafraout center and enjoys a beautiful valley
of almonds and a palmgrove and also a desert place
called Aoumerkt. The beauty of the rocks has
attracted the famous
western movie of Robert dalva
in 1983 called "the Black Stallions returns".
In 1984, the belgian artist Jean Varame painted
granite rocks. Other celebrities have been to this
place for music videos like Wes (Awa awa).
